My parents beat me. I did every chore they wanted. I resisted peer pressure. Was bullied in school. Maintained high grades so I won't be beaten. But I was never rebellious. Then the high school staff determined I did not socialize enough and my parents started criticizing me when I did not talk enough. So, sorry for not wanting to interact with ill behaved peers.
Seems every human has to be the literal same. Can't have a slightly more quieter person around who is very resourceful and does every task.
This forced therapy made me go crazier and crazier and I became a crazy person. I was fired from one job and nearly lost another and I was very close to committing suicide. Until i turned my life around doing the exact opposite of the forced intervention. Funny how that works.
Even with well behaved children it is never enough for parents.
I love all your books which have changed my life thank you for all you do
