Hello, subscribers to my weekly Substack essay, which is generally about this odd thing American parents have been doing since around 1970: i.e., parenting. However, as I’ve told you before, I am occasionally caught in the grip of an urge to write about something else, the something else being either theology or politics or maybe even something else, like rock ‘n’ roll, which I played professionally for seven years and have immovable opinions about. If I write about something other than parenting, it will arrive in your in-box as a bonus, a freebie.
I just cancelled my subscription yesterday before it auto-renewed because I just don't take the time to read enough of your great articles. But I think I must renew after reading this one!
I too will be voting for Trump a third time. Not once have I ever waivered in my support for him. To vote for a Democrat is truly voting for your own demise.

After I read this article, I subscribed to your Substack right away. I'm with you. Thank you!
Thank you so very much for your support!

My late husband would have loved this one. He would be fighting in Gaza while wearing his MAGA hat. Great article !
Trump brining in the truth....surely that must be a joke. I could go on but I am sure a plaster wall would be more receptive, and intelligent.
Hopefully Trump's coattails turns NC governor race Red. Polls don't look good. Can't figure out why.
Cliff, I think that's because the Republican candidate is not a strong candidate. Just like Trump should not have picked JD Vance as his running mate.
