After 47 years of writing a weekly newspaper column, the most successful (widely-read) parenting column in American newspaper history, I recently sent all of my subscribing papers my retirement notice. I'm not retiring, mind you. I retired my newspaper column. Instead, I'm now writing a weekly Substack and doing a weekly podcast, one advantage being that those outlets permit me to say what some editors will not permit me to say. And needless to say...
My Substack is going to be a continuation of my column, but I'm broadening my topic boundaries. One week, I may talk about how a certain verse of scripture pertains to childrearing. One week, I may talk about how a hot-button political issue affects American families. And sometimes, I might just go down a road that has nothing to do with raising children, but I just have to get it off my chest.
And some weeks, I'll talk and write about what readers and listeners have told me they want to hear me talk and write about. So, if you have any ideas along those lines, let me know by sending them to john@rosemond.com.
Thanks again and many blessings,
John

Looking forward to your substack! I'm a LMFT and discovered you when I was in grad school. You've helped guide me in working with many families. (We met at one of your speaking engagements many years ago when you came to SC.)
