Not intending to do so, I happened to catch a snippet of someone interviewing Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Duchess Meghan during which Her Duchessness said her second child, Princess Lilibet, is “amazing.”
How does a human being become amazing by age two…or any age, for that matter? From all I could gather, the Princess is amazing simply by virtue of being alive and responsive. She interacts with people, smiles when people play with her, is starting to put words together into rudimentary sentences, and so on. In short, the Princess seems like a happy child, which is certainly a good thing, but she is human; therefore, she is not amazing. Interesting is about as amazing as any of us gets.
