EVs and Global Warming
Monster hurricane after monster hurricane and we have nearly two months to go in the hurricane season. Some areas of the Gulf of Mexico, where these monsters are being spawned, are recording water temperatures above 80 degrees, the hottest on record. Glaciers are melting. The Antarctic ice cap is receding. Polar bears are coming south in search of new sources of food and have been sighted on the streets of Winnipeg. That’s a lie. Forget I ever said it.
Seems to me the issue is not whether the planet is warming—that’s a done deal—but what is causing it. Fossil fuel is the left’s designated boogeyman, and I must say, they’ve done an excellent job of persuading a significant number of the gullible that unless everyone junks their gas-guzzlers and buys EVs, we’re done for.
No reasonable individual, Democrat or Republican, would deny that EVs emit less carbon dioxide than comparable gasoline-powered vehicles. The further FACT, however—and needless to say, one that CNN and The New York Times aren’t telling their audiences—is that when carbon dioxide emissions from the PRODUCTION of EVs, and especially their batteries, is factored into the calculations, EVs produce MORE CO2 than the sort of throwbacks my wife and I drive (2016 Lexus SUV and 2005 Ford F-250 Turbo-Diesel).
The question becomes: If fossil-fueled vehicles are not the cause of global warming, then what is? The answer, which CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times absolutely know, is increased SOLAR ACTIVITY. Scientists have determined that in addition to Earth, Jupiter, Mars, and Pluto are also warming, and it may well be that ALL of the planets in our solar system are doing likewise but the data is not yet definitive in that regard.
It has been determined that Mars once had oceans, which means there was a time or were times in the past when Mars was considerably warmer than is currently the case. That strongly suggests that the entire solar system was warmer during those same times. The entire solar system did not and does not get hotter because of internal combustion engines. It does so because of increased solar activity, which occurs in cycles, one of which we are currently experiencing.
What this means is that transforming tillable land into gigantic fields of solar panels and windmills and forcing everyone to buy an EV is going to have zero effect on global warming.
The more immediate danger is that we are speeding toward an energy crisis. Current sources of energy are simply not going to keep up with rapidly accelerating need. The solution to that impending debacle is nuclear power. We need to rehab as many of the reactors we stupidly de-activated during the Age of Nuclear Hysteria as possible and build mini-reactors—slightly larger versions of the reactors that have been powering Navy ships for more than fifty years without meltdown—all over the place. And fast.
Who’s lying to us? If your ears and eyes and brain are functioning in tandem, you know the answer.

I want to share my husband Dr. Lan's thoughts about this in his recent article "Green Energy Brings more Climate Change". Here is the brief description:
1. Massive wind energy generation may change the climate. While wind turbines absorb kinetic energy from wind, they transfer the wind energy to electric energy. The speed in air flow will be reduced and momentum of air currents will be reduced. It will change the pattern and capability of circulation of air, water, etc. on the surface of the Earth, which will bring more climate change. Furthermore, the electric energy generated from wind plants will be delivered to some other areas and consumed, then finally become heat enter the air in other areas. The heat map would be changed as well.
2. Solar energy generation is similar to the above explanation. The solar energy will be absorbed in one area and become heat energy in another area. It will eventually change the heat pattern on the Earth and bring more climate change.

All in all, Green Energy is not Green at all. The so-called "Climate change" is a hoax! We can not escape from the Law of Conservation of Energy, which is created by our Creator.
Hurricane Milton chewed up the local solar energy farm. Pretty much nothing left except the frames. Certainly millions of dollars in the trash. And then there are the fools in flood zones leaving their lithium batteried vehicles inside garages where flood waters entered and subsequently started fires that cannot be extinguished. Who knew? Anybody who knows lithium reacts violently with water. Duh. I’ll be sticking with my gas guzzling truck thanks! 🤣
By the way…. I wonder if anyone ever thought of the simple physics of orbital mechanics. All (ALL) orbits decay. That is, objects orbiting other objects in space continually move closer to the object they orbit. The sun is hot….earth isn’t. At least not until it moves closer to the hot sun. To test this, let’s invite our liberal friends to slowly move their hand closer and closer to a candle flame. Could it be?
